Can I drive with my license from the states?
Driving and licensing in the VI is just like in the US with a few exceptions. The biggest one being that we drive on the left hand side of the road here. This can seem tricky at first but you will be surprised how quickly you will get used to it. You have 90 days once you arrive to get a VI drivers license. Just stop into the DMV (or call ahead) and they will get you the forms you will need. It is illegal to talk on the cell phone while driving here.

What timezone is the USVI in?
USVI is in the Atlantic Standard time zone. We do not recognize daylight savings time so we are the same time as Florida from April to October during daylight savings time and one hour ahead for the rest of the year.

What is the weather like?
You will enjoy a fairly consistent climate in the Virgin Islands. Temperatures range from the high 70’s to the high 80’s most of the year. It tends to be wetter and slightly cooler on the North Side of the island and a little drier on the south side. Hurricane season from June to November can bring some tricky weather but for the most part it is quite nice year round.
